“I can say, unequivocally, that Peggy understands the necessity of process and controls when it comes to accounting; however, she also empathizes with the rigors and unpredictability of production. Those two divergent objectives can often lead to conflict between production and accounting, but Peggy handles those minefields with an easy personality and the intelligence to know what is really necessary vs. what is merely desired. This makes for a very flexible individual but one who never loses sight of her job’s requirements and her responsibilities to the company or production. Peggy and I have worked on multiple projects throughout the years, on both live events and reality /unscripted series. She is very responsive to critique and always strives to correct errors whether they were a direct result of her effort or anyone else’s. She is quick to find a solution rather than place blame. And focuses on the objective rather than how one got to that end goal. Over the years, I have come to rely on Peggy especially when it comes to questions regarding corporate accounting norms and allowances (i.e. IRS rules vs. network requirements). In turn, I have imparted my 15+ years in production accounting knowledge on her as well. In the world of production, Peggy is a rare combination of business knowledge and production know-how. And in the world of production accounting, Peggy is an even rarer breed of flexibility when it comes to working with others and yet Type A personality when it comes to fulfilling her job. ”
